Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty is an operation to improve the function of the nose, which is also called the repair of the nasal passage, it consists of smoothing the cartilage and dividing bone inside the nose (blade) to improve breathing and relieve nasal congestion, as well as smoothing the side walls of the nose. Cosmetic rhinoplasty is the change of the outer structure of the nose to improve the beauty of the face.

How is rhinoplasty performed?

If the purpose of the operation is to bridge the nose, the surgeon will remove the bone and cartilage that caused the hump. After that, it brings the rest of the bone pieces together and narrows the nose. For nasal tip surgery, the cartilage of this area is removed through a small incision in the middle of the nose (called the columella). The surgeon can change the central structure of the nose by cutting and adjusting the cartilage, and it also helps to reduce the length of the nose.

In what cases is rhinoplasty performed?

Rhinoplasty, in addition to cosmetic use, is also used in the treatment of respiratory problems and other disorders. Those who are unhappy with the bridge or tip of their nose and want to fix their nose hump or make their nose tip narrower should use this method. Other people who have nose jobs for medical reasons may have blocked nasal airways due to fractures or congenital problems.

Rhinoplasty side effects

•    Nasal congestion
•    Nasal adhesions
•    Residual deviation of the nose
•    Constriction of external and internal nasal valve
•    Damage to the tear duct
•    Decreased sense of smell

Changing face with rhinoplasty or nose surgery

Rhinoplasty or nose reshaping is one of the most common plastic surgery procedures. Many people have a problem with the size or shape of their nose. Because the nose is in the middle of the face, it is the most important factor in creating balance in the face, and many people choose surgery or rhinoplasty to change the shape of their nose in order to create more harmony in their facial parts.
While surgical techniques have advanced a lot, there are limits to the changes. The result of the operation depends on the size of the nose, the condition of the skin and the age of the patient.

Septoplasty

Septoplasty is a type of nose surgery that is performed to correct the deviation of the nose.
The septum is the middle cartilage of the nose that divides the nose into two parts and it is very important that the two cavities or two nostrils formed as a result of this division are symmetrical, the same shape and the same size. Therefore, if for any reason the two nostrils are not the same size or the same shape and symmetry, it means that the cartilage of the nasal septum has a deviation, which often appears in the appearance of the nose. One of the other things that can be used to detect the deviation of the septum is that one of the nostrils is smaller than the other.

Problems that a deviated septum cause

The asymmetric appearance, the difficulty of the breathing process and the difference in the size of the two nostrils are the result of the deviation of the cartilage of the septum. Other problems that a person's septal cartilage deviation can cause include shortness of breath, a person's tendency to touch his nose with his hands, a person's tendency to fart for no reason, and nosebleeds.
Therefore, a person who has a deviated septum cartilage in the nasal area, in addition to the appearance of the nose, does not have a correct and complete respiratory health, and since easy and comfortable breathing is considered one of the most important involuntary processes of the body, therefore a person with This condition causes premature fatigue, lethargy, frequent nervousness, and in cases of acute septal deviation, it may lead to stroke and heart attack.
